INNOVATIVE CONCEPTUAL PLANS

2018 - The Small Business Innovation Center team, equipped with many small business programs and alumni, created a two-year conceptual study that was completed in 2019. Throughout the two-year study, the following work groups were pulled together in a variety of stakeholder sessions.

• (52) Design Hosted Workshop Industry Experts

• (43) Corporate Stakeholder Interviews

• (73) Compression Planning Sessions with Small Business participants from 7 different industries

• (25) Gen Z DISD participants

2019- The following conceptual plan was completed.   Within the report you will see growth drivers, the overall gaps within the region and idea validating Dallas College’s idea to transform the North Texas area into a forward thinking and connected community thus expanding the current corporate ecosystem of partners.   By creating a center that helped small businesses succeed, it enabled a competitive marketplace and develop a skilled workforce to support a productive and vibrant economy.
